If you take a look around the site you will notice a few updates, for starters there have been some updates on the visual side of the site. The login boxes on the right hand side of the site have a cool JavaScript attached now, and the 'Join Request Application' has also has had a major makeover. The 'Roster' page has gotten a few new games added, such as Battlefield 2142 and Silkroad Online. If you visit the 'Community' page you will notice a new group, 'Steam Group', you can view/join the NAGC Steam Group by: Launching the STEAM application on your desktop > Click Community > Click the Search Box in the top right-hand corner of the window > Type NAGC > Press Enter > Click 'Northern Assassins Gaming Clan (NAGC) > Click 'Join this group' on the right side of the window. Or if you prefer to do it on your work PC (or any pc that doesn't have STEAM installed) you can simply: Click 'Community' on the navigation bar above > Click 'Click here' for in the Steam Group row > Click 'Join this group' (you must be logged in). So now that you know how to join the new group, what exactly is it for? Well, the Steam Group is very similar to the Xfire Group, both corresponding applications have a Friends list, and both Groups are based around simplifying communication between select people (clan/group members). Also both have time stats, showing how many hours everyone has played and all other things you would expect from a group, announcements ect. So basically it could be said that the new Steam Group's is much like an Xfire Group rip-off, but who really cares? So now that I took five minutes of my life explaining how to join our group, take one minute of yours to actually do it! As for some of the promises I have made in the past such as a new 'site-overhaul', the Xbox Live division, and the NAGC WinVista Gadget, those are still on my list of things-to-do, but just haven't had time to get to them with the release of 'Halo 3' and 'The Orange Box', so thanks for staying tuned in on the latest updates from yours truly, and keep sticking around for further updates!
